One easy way to get outdoor ready is to visit Kmart’s new camping portal on their website at http://www.kmart.com/camping has launched a new camping portal on their website and they are asking the question – How do you get ready?

    To get “outdoor” ready, I like to have a start-of-summer bonfire with my family and friends. Once the mosquitoes start biting – it’s official. Summer is here and the camping gear is ready to go!

    To get outdoor ready I simply pack a book bag filled with food, bug spray, sunblock and everything else I need for a day outside.

    It’s important to make a list, just like whenever you’re going away. The thing with camping is, you have to make sure you remember everything, because it’s not necessarily so easy to run to a store to pick anything up!

    I make sure to plan ahead with a list and to get everything out a day ahead. Then double check as i pack it in the car.

    make a list 2-3 days before so you make sure you don’t forget anything, like bug spray, oooober important!

    Definately a list.Lots of supplies,everything from bug spray to sunblock.ANd make sure I have lots of fun activities planned for the kids and who could forget…Smores for the campfire!
