Video – Travel Trailer Turned Luxury Ice Fishing Hut

It’s time for this week’s Video of the Week!

This one is for all of the ice fishermen out there!  Watch how a couple of guys turn a regular travel trailer into a $50,000 ice fishing hut.  Nicknamed “The Bellagio Lodge”, this thing comes complete with a kitchen, bathroom, DVD player, plasma screen TV and full bar.  It really has all the comforts of home and more!  It sleeps 4, but can hold up to 10 fisherman for shorter excursions.

Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for – “Vegas on the Lake”…

I’ve seen it plenty of times, some unsuspecting RV owner decides to try their luck at the beach and doesn’t have any idea just how easy it is to get stuck in the sand.  Heck, we’ve even shown videos about it before!

Don’t give up hope though, there may just be an easy way to get your motorhome un-stuck.  Enter the Jack Russel Terrier…

Movie SignWow, this video is quite the classic!

I’m not sure, but this might be one of the coolest inventions that never caught on.  Imagine being able to tow a 5th wheel with your everyday driving car.

In this video they did it with a Volkswagen Beetle.  You gotta check it out.  The driver actual maneuvers the car a full 360 degrees.  This setup is truly amazing, you won’t believe your eyes!

Movie SignThe complete restoration of a 1958 Stanley travel trailer makes this week’s video of the week.

This 10 minute video will take you on a journey as a classic that was all but forgotten is given a second chance at life.  It’s stripped down to nothing then reassembled with remarkable precision.

I consider this a testimony to all the do-it-yourselfers out there who aren’t afraid of a little hard work.  Old trailers need not be thrown away and used for scrap, sometimes they just need a makeover.

Movie SignThis week’s video of the week is very exciting for me.  I’m a big fan of the television show How It’s Made, and this video is a clip from the show.

How It’s Made is a tv show that is all about a behind the scenes look at the manufacturing of common products found in the marketplace.  Everything from erasers to dump trucks have been featured.

This particular episode features the manufacturing of a popup tent trailer.  You get to follow a popup as it makes it’s way down the assembly line.

This video is another blast from the past – specifically 1982!

Watch Sesame Street’s Bert and Ernie  as they camp under the stars.  In typical Bert and Ernie fashion, the dynamic duo have differing opinions about what they should be doing.

For anyone who was a youngster in the early 1980’s, this video might just spark some nostalgia.  It certainly did for me.
